From one website for a friend to sixteen years of designing for brands and businesses like yours.

    The bakery

    Early mornings at an industrial bakery in Houston. A coworker mentions "graphic design." I had no idea what that was.

  2. AIH

    Art Institute of Houston

    Album covers and club flyers with my childhood friend Joshua Dada. Watching Skip build mixtape covers hooked me on digital.

  3. LSC

    Lone Star College

    A teacher said I had a knack for typography. A 100-plus page recipe book won the portfolio competition.

  4. Site 1

    The first website

    "I don't really know how to build a website." Raoul hired me anyway. I learned on the fly and loved it.

  5. $65

    The side hustle

    Print at d-mars, then Unified Energy Solutions by day. $65 logos and websites by night. Word got around.

  6. 16+ yrs

    Independent by design

    Quit the day job and went full-time. My old employer is still a client today.
